Where to stay

Penzance, West Cornwall

Cornish workshops are held at Sarah’s elegant, airy studio at Clarence House in the Heritage Quarter of Penzance. Although on the far tip of Cornwall, it’s easily reached by car via the M5 at Exeter and then the A30.

Arriving by train is great: we are mainline all the way from London Paddington and the journey is beautiful.

Once in Penzance the studio is walking distance from almost everywhere. There’s a huge choice of places to stay and eat, and of course great seafood and fish.

Public transport links are excellent if you want to linger longer to explore our coastline and history. St Ives, St Michael’s Mount, Bronze Age settlements, world class art galleries, Sea Life Safari Boat Trips, unspoilt beaches and coastal walks, rock pools to explore, and the sea, the sea!

How many months would you like to stay? :)
